The details.

Where do you meet?

I actually have three ways I generally meet clients. The first and most flexible is to meet at my home office in Homewood; with enough notice, I can meet here most any time. For those who would prefer to meet somewhere nearer or more public, I set aside blocks of time on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday afternoons to meet clients at the Barnes and Noble at the Summit. The third, and generally only way to meet out-of-state clients, is online. I use the free-to-you videochat and whiteboard tool Tutorsbox, which does a surprisingly good job of living up to the in-person experience.

None of those locations or times work for me, or I have a special need. Can you still help?

Probably! I’ve done everything from driving to clients’ homes during non-peak hours, to being flown to Massachusetts for a week to help with a project. Depending on what you need, I may have to charge for transportation time, or restrict meetings to certain times, but if in doubt, just ask!

I have a disability that complicates things. Can you accommodate that?

Absolutely. On top of my medical training, I have experience specifically working with clients with ADHD, anxiety, Asperger’s syndrome, bipolar disorder, blindness, brain injury, cerebral palsy, and I’m just up to the C’s. Whatever your need, we can find a way to make our sessions work for you.

Wow, sounds great! What’s all this goodness going to cost me?

My standard hourly rate is $75. Not exactly the price of a cup of coffee, but far cheaper than a missed or lost scholarship, repeated college course, or job search with a low GPA. And can you really put a price on knowledge?

My best friend is having trouble with this class too. Do you offer group discounts if we come together?

I do! For two students, I reduce the per-person rate to $60, and for three or more at a time I reduce it again to $45 per person.

Do you have a loyalty program?

Sure do! To thank you for sticking with me, every tenth hour we complete is completely free! No need to worry about keeping track of your punch card though: my accounting process keeps track of it for you. That’s a 10% discount, and you don’t have to do a thing to get it!

You’ve helped me so much! Is it alright if I give my friend your number?

Please do! Have them let me know you referred them, and as a way of saying ‘thank you’ , once they have their first session your next hour is on me.

All of this sounds great! How do we get started?

Great question! Just mosey on down to the contact page, or click that nice, friendly-looking button below, and send me a message. Let me know your situation, and we’ll get the ball rolling.
